Steven C. Leggett


Steven C. Leggett is a Senior Quality Improvement Coach for Lean Principles, LLC, which trains and coaches healthcare, automotive, aerospace and government and defense contractors in Lean and Six Sigma Problem Solving. Steve is a retired General Motors Senior APQP and Launch Supplier Quality Engineer. He was responsible for Cradle to Grave APQP functions, Lean Manufacturing, and warranty with respect to chassis components.

Steve has written and authored articles in numerous quality publications. He is the co-author of the AIAG-FMEA Manual (3ed) and the MFMEA Manual (1ed). He is the Chair of the AIAG-PPAP Manual (4ed), as well as a speaker at various local and national conferences. He has also won awards from ASQ Automotive Division for their Quality Professional of the Year 2003 and the AIAG Outstanding Achievement Award for 2002.

Steve is also a General Motors University (GMU) instructor and an Adjunct Professor of Metrology (Quality Systems) at Macomb Community College (MCC). He sits on the MCC Advisory Board for the Quality Systems and Technology Program. You can e-mail him at:
